Our mushroom kits are made with oak sawdust and soy hulls, sterilized and inoculated with the same spawn we use on our farm. These kits are identical to the blocks we use in our fruiting rooms. We make sure the kits are fully colonized and ready to fruit before they are sent to you, so you can begin growing mushrooms immediately. They consistently produce 5lbs or more over the life of the block (you will usually have 3 harvests) it also makes great compost for your garden once done fruiting.
